Free Fibromyalgia Management Coaching Course!

As a special offer to members of FMA UK, I am pleased to offer Free Fibromyalgia Management Group Coaching Courses. Each course will include an initial information session, and then 6 subsequent sessions. The first course will start on Wednesday 29th June 2011 with the initial information session and then the 6 sessions will start on Wednesday 6th July. There will be an opportunity for 2 groups, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The initial information session will be to ask questions about the coaching process, discuss what you would like to cover, and for you to get to know me a bit. The 6 sessions will take place fortnightly. Each week we will focus on a different aspect of managing FM. These topics will be chosen by the participants.

Each week will involve:

* Relaxation
* Introducing the weeks topic
* Looking at what each person wants to achieve in that area.
* Exploring what is currently happening for them.
* Look at the different ways they could approach their situation and goal.
* Decide on a way to move towards achieving their goal that is right for them as an individual.

The benefits of the 6 sessions will be:

* Building confidence and self esteem.
* Make real progress on learning how to manage your FM successfully.
* Get support within a safe and positive environment.
* Meet like-minded people.
* Improve your communication skills.
* Learn skills that will help you continue to manage your FM & other challenges after the coaching has ended.
* You control the pace of your own progress.

Each session will be two and a half hours long, with a 30 minute break. Refreshments will be provided. The sessions will take place at 4th floor, 63-66 Hatton Garden, London, EC1N 8LE . There is a lift. See directions and travel information below.

Participants will need to bring a notebook and pen. They should also bring anything with them that will maximize their physical comfort throughout the session. These sessions will be really rewarding for all involved.

This is not a drop in support group, so please secure your place on the course.
