I am married with three children and six grandchildren. I have had Fibromyalgia for x years: Diagnosed with FM in 1993.
Was diagnosed after so many years: It seems I have had it all my life but only became serious in 1989 was initially given wrong diagnosis only after investigation at Hammersmith Hospital was I given the diagnosis of fibromyalgia along with a connective tissue disorder and some muscle damage.

I manage my condition with a positive attitude and treatment from an ortho-molecular nutritionist who I have been seeing for about 15 years and who understands fibromyalgia, I take alternatives that she prescribes or suggests and believe these have helped me considerably. I visit a Chiropractor occasionally as need requires and have had treatment from a podiatrist.

I like reading, word puzzles, computing, caravanning going to the theatre and the Women’s Institute.
