Awareness Week in Thurrock

FMA UK and FMSupport South East Essex teamed up with all Thurrock libraries to take part in the national Fibromyalgia Awareness Week last month. A joint information stall was held in Grays library and information leaflets about fibromyalgia and about support services available from FMA UK are available from all Thurrock libraries.

Ella Vine, Executive Officer at Fibromyalgia Action UK said: ‘’The event was a success. It has been widely promoted in the local media and as a result many people came to see us.  For those who were unable to come to talk to us at the library, we made leaflets available in all Thurrock’s libraries. We would like to thank Thurrock Libraries for supporting the Awareness Week’’.
