Posters and Leaflets
You can raise awareness by requesting posters and leaflets and putting them up in local places that people will take notice. If you have not already requested them, then please order some by filling in the resources enquiry form. If you have already put some up then check if they need more leaflets. You can download a pdf version of the leaflet from here
Here are some of the places that you can place posts and/or leaflets:
- Dr's Surgery
- Local Rheumatologist
- Hospital Physio Department
- Supermarket
- Church
- Community Centre
- Library
- Workplace (your own and any others that you can think of)
- Job Centre
- Local Pub
- Student union
When ordering posters and leaflets please consider making a small donation as well. Anything that you can give to help cover the cost of posting material out is appreciated.

If your Health Care Professional needs some education in fibromyalgia you can request that an FMA UK Health Professionals Pack is sent out to them. All we need is the name of the Health CareProfessional and the address of their practice. We will then send a pack to their surgery addressed from us to them.

You can find a Support Group near you by contacting the Regional Coordinator for your area. If there does not happen to be a support group near you then maybe you can join with some other members and set one up. Support groups provide a social benefit as well as the opportunity to share tips on coping with fibro. They come in all shapes and sizes and we are often told how they have helped people.
